” I always wonder why.”

This is probably by far one of my favorite quotes. This reminds me of all the opportunities that many of us young adults are given but do not take advantage of. Too many times I see people get sucked into what society wants them to do instead of doing what they want to do. Being happy is one of the best feelings in the world, but I still find happiness hard to gain through chasing jobs, materialistic items, and women. Why would any of us want to chase these things? Is it because we have grown up wanting to impress the people around us with these superficial objects? Is it because we desire to fit in with people that really don’t care about us? Who really knows what motivates people to do what they do to find happiness? I have no idea, but I do know the older I get the more I understand that it is my happiness that ultimately decides many of the decisions I make. I do not want to end up like many people who wake up in the morning pissed off to go to work. I do not want to be one of those individuals that decided to chase illusions as a young adult. Just remember folks, you can go anywhere in this world, but don’t be one of the many that stays in the same place because of the fears that come along with taking risks
